I went home this weekend. I had a great time. The weather was good compared to the past couple of retreats. It rained Sunday morning and then was pretty nice the rest of the day. All my friends where there. We had so much fun! Saturday night I went to Mike's house and watched Hellboy with him. That was nice. The movie was dumb but being able to hang out with him was wonderful. Sunday I didn't expect to see him but he came. That was a pleasant surprise. After lunch he left and I went swimming with crew. Hannah tried to show me the butterfly stroke....I don't know how successful she was but it was fun to try. After that I talked to Stephen for a while. Andrew wanted to leave around dinner so we got a pizza to go and left. The drive home was long, but was fun too. Drew has a very large music collection with CD's that ranged from Jazz to Heavy Metal. We listened to disco the last half. That was fun. We had some interesting conversations, ranging from the alcoholic tendencies of college kids to how I used around five hundred calling card minutes to call Mike in the past two weeks. It was a good ride. I'm having trouble moving around today, I'm sore from this weekend. I played flag football and water polo. I think that's why. I need to start working out. I'm out of shape, not fat out of shape.
I'm glad to be back. This place is turning into a home. I still miss everybody, but I belong here now. It's weird how a weekend home makes this place seem like its where I'm supposed to be. I'm home for the next four years

Yay. Isn't it weird, to go home for a while and to realize that you're VISITING? That where you live, and where you call home, isn't where your parents are any more? It's scary and thrilling and exciting all at the same time. 'Home' is college, and Home isn't really home any more.
