17 Though the fig tree should not blossom
And though there be no fruit on the vines,
Though the yield if olive should fail
And the fields produce no food,

We also discussed how Faith is an essential part of the Christians life. Although it is a minor book, by an minor prophet, Habakkuk is an amazing example of Faith in God. Habakkuk sees what is going to happen to him and the rest of his people, and although it is horrible, he sings praises to God. His faith is amazing and it shames me. I don't know if I would be able to do what he did.
